Better Than A College Education - Learn Copywriting

So what?

They say that a college education with earn you this "huge" amount of money over the average person who didn't go to college. This is probably true.

But it should be easier to make more than someone flipping burgers.

However, ask any college graduate how much college helped them in their current job and I'm sure a lot of them would laugh.

Ask any college graduate how much they love their job...another laugh. 

This is the case for me.

That is all they are teaching you how to do in college...

...get a job.

And that's fine. Most people need a job at some point to pay for their living expenses.

But do you know what J.O.B. stands for?

Just Over Broke.

How many of you college graduates can agree with me on that?

If you really want to LIVE the life you have dreamed of, you need to have more.

Like bestselling author Robert Kiyosaki says, "I don't want a job."

OK, I may be presuming too much about you but let me see...

...here are a few questions that will help me discover if you really want a job.

• Would you rather set your own working hours?
  
  
• Would you rather be making the money you deserve?
  
  
• Be your own boss?
  
  
• Would you like to use your creativity in your work?
  
  
• Work at home in your underwear?
  
  
• Take vacations for more than two weeks a year?
  
  
• Drive a hot car?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you don't want a job either.

This is the million dollar question.

Well, you have to get some sort of education. The most useful information I have ever learned, I learned OUTSIDE of school.

In my opinion, one of the best uses of your time is to...

...learn copywriting.

Copywriting is basically writing sales letters to SELL a particular product.

I know what you are thinking...how hard can that be? I thought the same thing when I first started out.

Human beings respond to certain kinds of writing and the job of the copywriter is to elicit these emotions and get the reader to act on them. It is not an easy task.

The copywriter is NOT getting the reader to do anything that the reader does not want to do.

However, if the reader really IS in need of the product or service, a good copywriter will get that person to take action and buy.

Think about that for a second...

Doesn't every business in the world need to sell potential buyers on their product or service?

How much would that be worth to a company?

Hundreds of Thousands...Millions....Billions?

If you possess the little known skill of copywriting, you have the power to create great wealth for yourself.

How would you like to have the ability to effectively sell a product to people who need and want it?

Luckily, a copywriting education is NOT nearly as expensive as going to college...

...You can expect to spend about $25,000 a year for college...

Then you will spend 4....maybe 6 years in college. That can be well over $150,000 spent on your education.

How long will it take to pay that back?

...But you can get a far more useful copywriting education for less than $2,000...

And I mean a TOP NOTCH copywriting education. Some of these guys get paid tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to write ONE sales letter.

Now you may be tempted to get one of those $29 copywriting courses to learn copywriting and you are certainly free to do that.

However, keep in mind that excellent copywriters make money from their writing.

...a lot of money.

Why are they going to sell an el cheapo $29 course when they know how much this skill is worth?

They will usually give away a few tiny bits of information for free, but if you really want to learn the craft from the masters, you need to pay them for their knowledge.

Remember...

...the more a person charges for their educational material...

...the more they have to lose if it sucks!

But don't take my word for it.  Do your own research.

The goal of this article was to suggest an alternative to college.  I realize that most people cannot afford college without some help from their parents or some financial aid. 

However, anyone can work a couple of months and save up enough money to get a good course and learn copywriting from the masters.
